Acrylic painting. This was a culmination for me in technique. Up to this point I tended to get so caught up in the process of painting that I would use only one tool, either pallette knife or brush, and one set of colors which I really liked. In this piece I used both knife and brush, and really went outside my favored color scheme. Originally this piece was meant to be upsidedown from what you see and was painted that way, but I liked it better flipped over.
