Little Soul series found object "mosaic." Two birds herald spring in traditional annunciation fashion. I was very taken with Simone Martini's "Annunciation" (circa 1333) when I first saw it, and it may seem odd, but that altarpiece is the inspiration for this work of art. Includes: medallion, money plant, twig, broken ceramic, buttons, glass, shells, grapevine, beads, plastic leaves, ribbon, carved stone.
