Acrylic painting. This was a culmination for me in technique. Up to this point I tended to get so caught up in the process of painting that I would use only one tool, either palette knife or brush, and one set of colors which I really liked. In this piece I used both knife and brush, and really went outside my favored color scheme. Originally this piece was meant to be upside-down from what you see and was painted that way, but I liked it better flipped over.
