Photograph. I was making stuffed pasta hats that are covered on the bottom with these "mother-in-law tongues." This is a flat pasta and so beautiful, I took quite a few photos before cooking them. Cooked, they were not quite as colorful, but they were incredibly delicious! I call it an egg, because it looks like an Easter egg to me, even though it is completely flat.
