Little Soul series found object "mosaic." “Tree of Purification” reminds me of Christ, and the delicate filigreed box at the end of the pearls reminds me of incense swung in churches, but also of a Bible. The pearls themselves seem to symbolize wisdom. I feel this piece is extremely powerful because it also illustrates the concept of forgiveness – that God forgives us personally, and as a society, for all of the heinous acts we commit out of ignorance, acts that we may consider godly at the time we commit them.
